Once upon a frightfully frigid day, Fred figured it was time to go to the supermarket. He felt it was fit to have a fancily festive dinner party in his flat for his friends.
Now Fred wasn’t a terribly fun or forthcoming kind of guy, but Fred was funny and friendly, and he felt like trying his fortune on this fine night.
He needed to liven up his fading apartment and personality. He fancied the though of fixing himself up. But first, Fred felt he needed to figure out a fabulous full course menu for his fellow diners.
Fred had always liked fish, and he though filets of sole and fish sticks would be fine. He’d fix those with a few pieces of flat bread, fried rice, fennel, feta, falafel (someone tell me what falafel is), french onion soup, and some fettuccine to finish. Fabulous indeed, Fred feebly flapped.
Onto desert. Fred’s favorite was fruit salad, so that was for sure. Next, fig newtons, fruit loops, frosted flakes, frosting and fudge would fit full well. He was onto something here, Fred felt.
Frightened that his friends would be flaunting over to his flat fairly soon, Fred tidied things up fast. He didn’t fancy the idea of fellows falling over furniture so frequently.
After a few hours flew by, Fred was finished. Extras were in the fridge, the table was fit and fancy, and the food smelled fabulous.
He had finally gotten the chance to fling himself into his full, fluffy sofa, when the bell fizzed and Fred followed the fanfare to his door.
The first friends had arrived.
